Privacy policy
What we collect, why, and how to delete it. Written for people, with the legal terms where they are needed.
What we collect
Your quiz answers (7 questions), your first name and email address, and birth data — date, time (if known) and place — for you and for one other person. If you subscribe, our payment provider (Polar) collects payment details; we never see your card number.
We also record product events (which step of the quiz was reached, whether a report was viewed, whether a plan was selected) so we can see whether the product works. These are tied to your report, not sold or shared for advertising.
The other person’s data
You are entering birth data about someone else. Under GDPR that is personal data of a third party. We ask you to confirm you have their permission or are using details they have shared publicly, and we process it only to compute and show the report to you (and to them, if you choose to share it).
The person you added can ask us to delete their data at any time. So can you. Deleting removes both people’s birth data, quiz answers, computed charts and report text from our systems; a billing record without personal details may be retained where the law requires it.
What the other person can see
If you send them their side of the map, they see the shared dynamic — how the two charts interact — from their perspective. They never see your quiz answers, your email address, or your exact birth details. This is enforced on our servers, not just hidden on the page.
Legal basis
We process your data to deliver the service you asked for (contract), and the other person’s data on the basis of your confirmation and our legitimate interest in providing the report you requested, balanced against their rights — which is why deletion is one request away for either of you.
Cookies and analytics
By default we set only what is strictly necessary to run the site (your quiz progress lives in your browser’s session storage and is not sent anywhere until you finish). Product analytics run only if you allow them in the cookie notice; nothing is pre-ticked.
Retention and deletion
Reports are kept while you have an account or an active subscription. To delete everything now, use the deletion control in your account page, or email us. Deletion is immediate and irreversible.

Hosting and database: Hetzner Online GmbH, data centre in Helsinki, Finland (EU) — your data does not leave the EU. Payments: Polar Software Inc. (merchant of record; card details are handled by Polar and its processor, never by us). Email: Resend. Product analytics (only with your consent): PostHog (EU cloud). Each processes data under a data-processing agreement.
